Music T-shirts
[According to an article in the NY Times the last Rolling Stones tour was attended by mostly people over 70. When an old man, old like me, passed me on the street he was wearing a Stones t-shirt. I quickly photographed him and so began this mini-project. I see a shirt I stop the wearer and ask to photograph them. The Rolling Stones are the ones I see the most. Then Nirvana. Most are in New York but Paris and Marseilles are also represented. Some of the performers are well known and some only their mothers know.
My problem now is I keep seeing them and photographing them, there are so many, but can no longer keep them in alphabetical order without moving each one. Not going to do that. And then there are the ones I miss: Miles Davis, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, countless others.
